Traditions Remixed: Traditions remixed is an artist collective founded by Massart alumni and Black artists union members Destiny Palmer and Stephen Hamilton. This collective comes out of the spirit of cooperation and community building among artists of color, which has grown out of their experiences in Massarts black artists union. Together they strive to create art exhibitions based on common interests while showing a body of work which speaks to there own personal styles. Both artists are deeply interested in tradition and are constantly reinvestigating, reinterpreting and expanding upon the aesthetics inherent in the the cultural and artistic traditions, which they are a part of .
